About This Internship
HYE GAMING, a leading esports organization, is offering an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals interested in esports coaching. We are seeking a dedicated Esports Coach Intern to join our team. This unpaid internship provides hands-on experience in coaching esports players, analyzing gameplay, and supporting team development within the dynamic esports industry.
Responsibilities:
Player Coaching: Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to esports players, focusing on individual skills, teamwork, strategy, and in-game decision-making.
Gameplay Analysis: Analyze gameplay footage, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to help players enhance their performance.
Training Sessions: Plan and conduct training sessions, drills, and practice matches, assisting players in refining their skills and teamwork.
Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and refine in-game strategies, including map-specific tactics, hero compositions, or game-specific techniques.
Player Development: Assist players in setting goals, tracking progress, and addressing challenges, fostering a positive and growth-oriented mindset.
Team Dynamics: Promote positive team dynamics, communication, and collaboration, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
Passion for Esports: Genuine passion for the esports industry, including knowledge of popular games, players, teams, and tournaments.
Game Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the specific game(s) being coached, including mechanics, strategies, and gameplay nuances.
Coaching Skills: Strong coaching and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.
Leadership: Leadership skills to guide and inspire players, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a growth mindset.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze gameplay critically, identify strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies for improvement.
Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with esports games and gaming platforms, as well as basic knowledge of streaming and coaching software.

Requirements
You must have passion for gaming and esports! HYE GAMING puts heart into every project, we look for people who want to make a change.
For legal reasons, you must be a United States citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States. Exceptions are only for projects taking place outside of the United States.
You must be willing to work remote (have your own reliable computer) and have experience using computers, Discord, and Google Suits.
Please come prepared. As an intern, you are not a professional, but you should already know at least the basics of what it takes to be in this career field. We are not going to teach you how to use Discord or your own computer. However, we will be teaching everything you need to know, inorder to better yourself to enter your chosen career field.
